Review #1,767: Lil' Buck "Only The Real Can Relate"

Reviewed on 12.31.2017 (Review #1,767)

Catchin’ up on some last-minute shit b4 tha year ends… Got this lil’ disc from Lil’ Buck (not tha Ruff-N-Rugged one; tha Ent Music one) from when I met up wit him in Louisiana on October 15… Here goes my review for his Only The Real Can Relate (Promo Disc) disc… Start Time: 7:32 PM | End Time: 7:49 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Understand”
>>> I’ono why, but I can’t put tha voice to tha face, here… Sounds nice wit tha hook for tha streetz, here, wit how you “understand.” I’ll call this one “I Understand”, since there’s no titles on this disc… Sounds like a good 1st verse; nice lil’ hood story, here… Tha 2nd verse sounds nice ta hear, too; almost like a Boosie voice… My Rating: 3.8

02. “My Rock”
>>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ beat to pick to rap off of… Sounds like a catchy lil’ hook, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad, here… Definitely feelin’ tha catchiness, in a way… Sounds like a feature on tha 2nd verse? I found tha titles on Amazon… Disc from ’06 and why I get a copy wit only five tracks? Real disc has 25 tracks… SMH? My Rating: 3.9

½time: 3.9-rated disc, so far…

03. “Did Me Wrong”
>>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ Baton Rouge street sound, kinda like a Boosie track… Tha hook catchy; not my kinda track but it ain’t bad… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds good wit this beat… Tha 2nd verse aight, too; decent track but a guilty pleasure fa me… Hate when people get trapped in tha “wrong” situations (relationships)! My Rating: 3.2

04. “Lil’ Daddy”
>>> Ugh! Hearin’ anything wit “coffee” seems like it’s a guilty pleasure! A catchy lil’ hook about tha “lil’ daddy”, “coffee” and tha “coffin” shit… Tha rhymes on this sound good; can’t complain… My Rating: 3.7

05. “Neva Change”
>>> You sound like a close version of Boosie or somethin’ wit this voice and tha content of tha rhymes, here… Not bad of a track; good, but decent fa my liking… My Rating: 3.5

Overall: A decent disc… My taste buds for tha undaground Louisiana rap scene are kinda ducked-off, at tha moment, so it don’t seem like I have tha highest of scores/tastes… Either way, it was good wit how you had a Boosie perspective on thangz…

Rankings:

05.       “Did Me Wrong” 3.2
04.       “Neva Change” 3.5
03.   “Lil’ Daddy” 3.7
02.   “Understand” 3.8
01.   “My Rock” 3.9

Review #1,765: Level "Club Banga King 3.5"

Reviewed on 12.08.2017 (Review #1,765)

Tryna stay focused for some big things to happen… For now, let’s see what gon go down wit Level Club Banga King 3.5, released on Mayham Entertainment…! Start Time: 3:50 PM | End Time: 4:39 PM

© 2017 CD Review (Review #1,765) reviewed on 12.08.2017 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “I Got It”
New track, here? >>> Sounds good for this beat, tha intro and how you comin’ through wit tha energy/aggression! Consistent, gutta-ass verses/track to tha fullest, here! I like how tha hook real quick, as tha beat stops and you quickly have tha DJ explain how you “got it!” My Rating: 4.6

02. “DFWT” feat. Jay Lewis & Mouse On Tha Track
I actually heard it for tha 1st time on March 27, 2017 (I believe it was that night) while I was at Way 3000’s house. He was playin’ some shit off his phone… I never got to add it ‘cause I got it confused a lil’ bit wit how “I Bet U Won’t” was re-buzzin’… So, here goes tha official review for it…, finally! >>> Of course, Mouse doin’ tha track and tha hook’s pretty jammin’; lots of slammin’ cymbals! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty dope wit your aggression, of course… Oh yeah, for those that don’t know tha initials: “Don’t Fuck Wit That!” Hearin’ Jay on tha 2nd verse and he soundin’ good, cruisin’ down “Airline;” gotta luv that highway! And, endin’ it wit Mouse, comin’ through wit a quick lil’ bridge/short part; nice… My Rating: 4.7

03. “Hammer (Remix)” feat. Foxx & Hurricane Chris
I’m not gonna copy/paste tha reviewz… If I already know tha songs, just look at my review on Club Banga King 3 for more: http://frankiethaluckydog.blogspot.com/2016/08/review-1516-level-club-banga-king-3.html
My Current Rating: 5.0

04. “Wit Da Yea” feat. Mista Cain
I’ono why but I ain’t expect there to be so many new ones on here… >>> Recruited Koon to do this track; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! Sounds pretty nice, here; diggin’ all tha “yea wit da yea” shit on tha hook! During my 2nd trip to Louisiana, I met up wit a dude in G-Lane on June 24, 2017 & he was “Mr. Yea Wit Da Yea” (wound up gettin’ arrested). Definitely was a nice experience in tha hood, of course! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from you and you comin’ through wit your usual, club/street-soundin’ shit, here; gotta luv it! Mista on tha 2nd verse and it’s whateva; usual-soundin’ shit from him, as always… Hearin’ you on tha 3rd verse and it your usual, energetic self, here… My Rating: 4.6

05. “So U Think U Can Twerk?” feat. Big Choo
>>> Beat intro from Rodnae? Yup, correct (Beats How U Want ‘Em). And, this sounds like a catchy track/hook wit Big Choo on tha hook, here… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds catchy, as always… Diggin’ how this has a mix between a club and a street-soundin’ sound to it, in tha beat… Got Big Choo on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit his catchiness… A simple-soundin’ verse to just make tha track go on by… And, a lil’ bridge from you, tellin’ ‘em to continuously “bend ova;” good shit… My Rating: 4.5

06. “Mohead Ain’t Dead” feat. Hard Head, iPod Da DJ, Hollywood Luck & Robert Paulson
What…?! Lol… >>> Production from Sinista, here; sounds like it gon be good wit a “Sippi” connection, lol? Diggin’ tha lil’ “oh-oh, oh-oh” shit in tha background (sounds like “Give Me That” (Webbie & Bun B) sample?); nice job on tha hook, Lev! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you got this energetic shit on lock, of course! “CBK: Club Banga King!” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds like they have Dorrough-like vocab (“yeah, buddy”). Sounds like anotha voice right after? And, anotha? Nice “Sippi” connection, here, for one track… Too bad tha final verse ruined it; not diggin’ tha a-tune bullshit! Gay-ass verse, even tho it woulda been a nice flow fa this party track… Anotha dude on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse; not too bad… Their flow sounds like a familiar track from a while ago… Almost was gonna go under a 4.0, due to tha auto-tune/some aight verses, but tha vibe kept me goin’… My Rating: 4.0

07. “Gotta Lotta Respeck”
>>> A Mouse track, here… Oh, dedication to “MC Nero,” here. How ironic that I’m reviewin’ this today ‘cause an hour ago, I was at tha mountain where I shot tha tribute video from Nero, earlier in January! Haven’t been there since I shot that tribute video! I’m expectin’ to shoot a live review on there, too! Just hate that it’s 32 degrees out, again; hate tha cold! It snowed today in Baton Rouge; crazy! Sounds like a decent lil’ tribute/remake, here, wit how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse… Likin’ how you handle/remake tha hook; good shit fa tha ’17! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ like a good verse, too… My Rating: 4.3

08. “Looser” feat. Louis Bad Azz & Philly Fade Jeff
Two “O”z? I’mma take one “O” out fa now… >>> Oh, naw, neva mind; you made up tha word “looser,” a more meaning to “loose,” lol. Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty dope from you, bein’ “looser!” Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 1st verse; glad you always jiggin’, L-E-V-E-L! Crazy-ass 2nd verse, here; definitely feelin’ tha vibe! Sounds like anotha version of Sam I Am, mixed with Mystikal or somethin’! Gotta luv it; gotta luv tha party vibe! Damn; must be tha Philly dude on tha 3rd verse ‘cause I neva heard of this a-tune dude before, smh… Like, really? Why tha gay-ass voice effect to ruin things? No feedback… Anotha mixed review but I wanna still give it at least a 4.0… My Rating: 4.1

09. “He Say, She Say” feat. Bay Bay, B Will & Big Poppa
My Current Rating: 4.4

½time: A 4.5-rated CD, currently; definitely nice! Too bad a few auto-tuned parts ruined some of tha tracks but it ain’t fully ruin tha ratings! Luv all tha consistent energy at all times, Level! Keep it goin’! Neva lose tha energy!! Your energy’s why customers luv me at my job!

10. “Glock Up” feat. Spitta & Clever Kev
>>> Anotha Koon beat; definitely nice sound! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice fa this street anthem! Gotta luv that you always aim for A – A+, as far as your sound! Luv tha energy, luv tha vibes! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from you and it’s pretty nice, here… You’re unstoppable, Level! Gotta luv that you embrace this BR shit and neva give up on it! I may have my self-esteem issues with my importance but I still do at least one thing a month fa Louisiana, it seems like… Hearin’ Spit on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit his typical, street-soundin’ shit, as always… Kev on tha 3rd verse, here, pretty-much a cloned-soundin’ verse from tha Spitta verse… That’s what it sounds like ta me…; not bad… My Rating: 4.4

11. “2 Much” feat. Box
>>> Mouse track… A sketchy-soundin’ intro; wasn’t sure what to expect… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good wit how you sing-rappin’ tha hook… It ain’t bad; fuck tha “money” shit, tho… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and, at least you have tha energy, here… Got Box on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit a decent verse… I’m glad he ain’t stop wit this music shit, too… Some of tha lyrics are kinda ehh (today’s generation wit these “likes” and “timeline”) but I’m still feelin’ tha upbeat vibe… Almost sounds like Mouse has a hidden background vocal in tha hook, at times; diggin’ it… And, we got tha 3rd verse from you, comin’ through wit some good shit, as always… And, randomly, 13 seconds of silence at tha end…; why? My Rating: 4.2

12. “‘Bout My Money” feat. Zoe Realla & Lil’ Cali
>>> Sounds like a good beat start; definitely a catchy sound… Hearin’ tha hook and it ain’t bad… Tha beat sounds more like a street-soundin’ beat more than a club one, even tho it still has, like, tha two of them types combined… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you “70805”-reppin’, here; good shit… Speakin’ of “Zoe,” still can’t believe he died in Ghosttown, right near my boy, B-Teze, earlier this year (on my late brother’s birthday, too)! Got Zoe on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit his cool-soundin’ vibe, as always… Glad he was able to turn from a nobody to a somebody by continuin’ to rap till tha final day… I like that “eBay, baleeve me” part; good shit, Zoe…! And, we got Cali on tha 3rd verse, always comin’ through as a celeb… Glad he always keeps it goin’ wit what he brings to tha table… We still gotta link up—well, you & Cali gotta link up wit me, one of these dayz! I always hit y’all up when I plan on comin’ down but we ain’t link up, yet… Either way, good shit, Cali; good shit… Tha whole entire time I reviewed this, I ain’t even criticize tha “money” shit on tha hook; totally bypassed me! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Not My Dawg” feat. Lil’ Soulja Slim, Young Juve & Spitta
>>> Nice beat from Koon; definitely a nice vibe! I’m diggin’ this hook; good shit, Level! I’m feelin’ how you identify tha fakes, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from you and I’m glad you linked up wit tha son of a Soulja, here! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from tha son of a Soulja and it sounds nice. I feel like he’s got this current generation on lock; he ghot a future! I typed “ghot” by mistake but feel like Lil’ Soulja Slim can turn “got” into “ghot,” like, in a trend way! Crazy how I just came up wit that while I was listenin’ to him! Good shit he spit, too; gotta stay consistent! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse from Juve and it’s soundin’ like a “gucc”-like verse; gotta dig it. Got a 4th verse here from Spitta, comin’ through wit his king-type shit; gotta dig it, too! Nice “Noah’s Arc” ending, too… My Rating: 4.7

14. “Fuck ‘Em” feat. Mike B & Big Blaze
>>> Ain’t catch tha producer’s beat tag in tha beginning but I like how this hook/beginning sounds like a tribute/remake to C-Murder; good shit! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds dope wit what you bringin’ to tha table! Gotta luv your energy at all times! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from Mike B and tha energy’s undeniable!! Just luv what y’all bringin’ to tha table at all times! Good shit! And, we got Big Blaze on tha 3rd verse; gotta fuckin’ love it!! Just luv tha consistency he bringin’ to tha table and I’m diggin’ tha “weed from tha same pound” line; good shit! No matter what age, time, generation, etc., Blaze always has that neva-dyin’ quality! Always reminds me of tha ’06 dayz/early dayz of Big Blaze! Just luvin’ what he continuously bringin’ to tha table! Definitely an A+-soundin’ verse! Luv how it didn’t have a hook repeat; crazy shit! My Rating: 4.8

15. “She Be Screaming” feat. Racked-Up Ready
My Current Rating: 4.8

16. “Street Nigga” feat. Max Minelli & C-Loc
My Current Rating: 4.6

17. “Go Get Beat Up” feat. Tweeday & Thug Brothers
My Current Rating: 4.7

18. “Get Cha Issue” feat. Ratchet Life & Beezy Boy
>>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ track, here; nice hook, Level… Hearin’ what you got goin’ on wit tha 1st verse and it sounds like dat gangsta shit that neva dies; good shit! Ratchet Life on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ like he a cool dude from tha hood, here… I know I done known a bunch of Beezies from my time of Louisiana-listenin’. I may know this one but not too sure… Got Beezy Boy on tha 3rd verse? I hear tha intro before tha 3rd verse kicks in… Guess we gotta flip tha names in tha ID around? Hearin’ tha verse and it decent; nothin’ too-too special… Just sounds like random lyrics to keep tha party movin’… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Surprised to not see “I Bet U Won’t” but, I guess, whatevz… Surprised to also know that this a five-star-rated review, despite everything I’ve recently been through wit Louisiana situations! Great job, Level! It’s all about that consistency, party vibes, excellent production, excellent collaborations & everything you continue to bring to tha table! Gotta keep it movin’; neva stop! Club Banga to infinity!!

My Underground Playlist Adds: November 2017

Between everything that's happened to me with my produced track and a failed upcoming project throughout this month, I have a feelin' I won't be addin' that many (or any) underground, Louisiana rap tracks, anymore... I'm either taking a break to regroup or I need to just move on... I'm currently tryna find tha balance... But, we got lucky for November; here ya go:

Frankie's Louisiana Update (11.19.2017)

Recently, I've been involved in a situation that's been affecting me financially, emotionally & professionally. Last year, on December 15, in honor of their son's birthday, I produced a track for a not-so-known underground artist. I love this artist so much & feel like they're really talented, but need tha motivation to continue lovin' life. I felt like they needed to make a comeback & I felt that I had tha power to make that happen.

I finally got a hold of them & sent them tha track on February 13. However, they weren't near a studio & kept putting tha track off. At times, I kept helpin' them out 'cause I wanted to believe in them bein' happy & motivated to rap on my track, which was only a minute, 39 seconds long (99 seconds!). Eight months later, on October 13, I finally met them in person in Baton Rouge, LA. I put a lotta money & effort into traveling & wanting to complete my goals, including getting tha dude to rap an intro & one verse on tha track. As they put it off on October 14 & 15, they told me, "If you wanna wake up fresh & get it over with, you'd go to sleep & we'd get tha track done tha next day, before I fly back to PA."

Tha next day, on October 16, I didn't realize they were working tha whole day & they were a no-call/no-show. So, me being upset, I showed my emotions & asked for help. There, I encountered one of their producers, had a 15-minute talk with them & they said they would help me complete my goal of gettin' tha artist to get tha track done.

Over tha past month, tha idea of my track wound up turning into an upcoming CD getting done & my beat getting enhanced with a feature from producer/rapper, DJ B-Real; my two favorite artists on tha same track! Here, I helped pay for studio time, "enhancements," two features, an album photoshoot, photography, gas money, a T-Shirt promotion, a new hard drive, a file transfer, a mic, a mixer & even more "enhancements" to get my track done; I became tha label's "movement." I kept tellin' dude that he was gettin' my hopes up & he wanted me to believe it. DJ B-Real had finally unblocked/reconnected with me after 3 1/2 years during this time, too. I felt like I had everything I ever wanted!

However, doom started striking. A week into tha "project," I had asked for some pics/footage of some of tha studio sessions. As I was promised I was going to get something, I kept checking my email...; nothing! All of a sudden, I was losing interest in listening to music (including self-medicating), going out, havin' anxiety attacks & feelin' really upset. As I felt like this was insecure & more money/situations kept occurring, I reached out to tha artist themselves to see what was up... As I was told that tha artist was workin' on writin'/recordin' their verse to tha track, I had asked tha artist to confirm details with me. Here, they told me they neva knew tha track was enhanced, nor did they know B-Real was gonna be on it; they only had tha original beat I made. Tha dude originally told me not to get a hold of tha artist 'cause they didn't wanna "piss them off," or "lose their motivation."

I then let two weeks go by to see what was gonna happen... It lead into a lil' more money & still, no proof of nothin'. As I wasn't correctly gettin' what I paid for, I started to have anxiety attacks. At work, tha insides of my chest would punch my stomach, constantly. People would see that somethin' was wrong & I couldn't control tha anxiety... People would also tell me to stay on tha peoples' backs till I got what I wanted. Here, they'd give me tha excuse of a job & their kids was preventing them from gettin' to focus on my shit. Meanwhile, they said I was tha "movement" & tha "top priority." I work six dayz a week & still support my "top priority" (tha artist), I still answer people & when I'm not upset, I consistently put out/work on videos/projects & more.

November 17 had marked six years since tha first time I was robbed in another situation, so I was already feeling weird... Yesterday, they had said they were on tha phone with tha artist, talkin' to them to meet up. I had got a hold of tha artist to double-check to see if they were talkin' and what did they say? "No, they never called me;" really?! Lying about talking to them? This shit's THAT low?! They finally cut me off today when I confronted them about tha lie & told them not to include their kids in our business relationship. In tha work field, personal & business relationships don't mix. He felt disrespected that I talked down on his kids & that he doesn't wanna speak to me again. He's agreed to pay me back all tha money that went into tha project but will I see it? Who knows... He even said he was gonna keep my "enhanced track," whether it exists or not, if I ask for tha money back. Needless to say, all I really wanted was for tha artist to just rap on MY track; that's it!

This whole situation puts me at a crossroad... I honestly wanna give up promoting tha whole underground, Louisiana rap scene & try to move on to somethin' else... Tha scene ain't tha same as it was 10 years ago, when I first became fascinated with it. All tha underground artists I love have their kids as their distraction and have lost touch with tha passion of creating their music. Everyone wants to sound mainstream & ask for money for features (when, in my opinion, collaborations should be based off of a good bond).

Over tha past 10 years, not once have I missed a month of posting something on my blog about Louisiana! It will break my heart forever if I give it up & move on... Louisiana has changed my life but now, in 2017, I just feel like everything's all complicated. I don't know where my life iz headed next but I really need to regroup... I'm going to go see a doctor/seek help & see where my future takes me from here... I will still do video things & music-related things. I will still try and complete everything I've been behind in over tha past eight years, like I promised. But now, at this time, I must take care of myself!!

Review #1,762: B-Don Trustnone "No Lies In My Eyes #FTW"

Review unavailable.

Review #1,761: Shizz Dollah "Look What You Made Me Do, Vol. 1"

Reviewed on 10.30.2017 (Review #1,761)

Up nice and early to catch up on some reviewz, before tha month ends… A lot done happened since my last Louisiana review! Had my most-recent Louisiana trip October 13 – October 16! Met up wit 41 people, which was nice… However, I got robbed outta $176 in a setup tha 1st night I was down there… It wasn’t an artist, so I moved on from it. Either way, my manager left my job & a job opportunity may be landin’ my way, soon! Also, my ex-friends came to visit me and may reconnect with me…! And, to top it off, after over 3 ½ years, DJ B-Real FINALLY UNBLOCKED & RECONNECTED WITH ME on October 22! I still ain’t know what I did to make us reconnect, but I’mma just say that I’m doin’ somethin’ right!! I feel that all tha trips to Louisiana, all tha people I done connected with, err-thang done added up! I guess I had to make $80,446.32 at work over tha years ta achieve tha unblocking success? That’s what I did! So, it’s been a blast! I’m also working on my upcoming video countdown, FTLD’z Top 20 Louisiana CDs During His Connection, in honor of me bein’ connected with tha Louisiana rap scene fa 10 years (on October 11). Lot in store fa me but barely any time fa anythang! I even have a music project comin’ out! Damn, I just keep goin’ and goin’ wit err-thang! That’s why, I haven’t had a chance to update tha blog wit tha info! Now, I’m here, bright and early in tha mornin’! With that bein’ said, here goes my review for Shizz Dollah Look What You Made Me Do, released on B-Real’s Pay The Producer Production (PTP Production) & Blocc Society! Only five tracks, here; nice and quick… Also, out now: $hizz collaborated with Da Real Gee Money on “I Feel The Same Way”, produced by Neil On Da Track & DJ B-Real; peep dat out! Start Time: 4:37 AM | End Time: 4:51 AM

01. “Off Safety”
Seems like it’s been a minute since I done reviewed… But, naw, I review every month, of course! >>> Sounds like a good start wit tha intro and tha shout outs to “B-Real” & “Mouse On Tha Track,” here… Sounds like a nice verse, here… At times, you honestly sound like A1 Wissel wit your voice… I’ono, I can’t say anythang negative about this… I have to say, you done made some nice comeback moves ‘cause I remember your music soundin’ shitty with auto-tune, or some other shit (I gave up around 2012 but now, you got this). Now, you got this! My Rating: 4.0

02. “100”
>>> B-Real doin’ this track; nice shit… See, tha beat can sound like a typical, mainstream-soundin’ beat but B-Real has some extra sounds that make it more interestin’, ya dig? Good job wit tha 1st verse, here; glad you focused… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice; dope shit! Nice to see you guys fuckin’ wit YBB Studios; gotta luv that place! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice; consistent rhymes, here… Definitely diggin’ your “100” perspective wit how you be handlin’ err-thang; good shit…! My Rating: 4.3

½time: Definitely nice fa two tracks, so far; good shit… A 4.2-rated CD; gotta keep it movin’!

03. “All For You”
>>> Sounds like an interestin’ track… A lil’ smooth and, damn, “cancelin’ all my plans all for you,” huh? Honestly, they betta take care of “you!” I hate when I have to be “all” ready fa people & then, it’s such a struggle fa them ta do tha same fa me! Luckily, I don’t have ta worry about so much negativity, these dayz! An okay 1st verse, as you got shit goin’ on, here… And, tha 2nd verse ain’t bad, too… Gotta luv “flyin’ down I-10;” glad I done seen tha interstate! My Rating: 3.7

04. “Ain’t Playing With You”
>>> Gotta luv “Glen Oaks;” lotta great peeps there…! Sounds like a nice, simple, Baton Rouge-type track, here; decent hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you comin’ through wit some nice shit, here… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, and it’s pretty nice, too… Not bad of a track, here; short-n-sweet… My Rating: 3.8

05. “I Got My Money Up” feat. Doe_XO
So, Doe’s now Doe_XO? I luv how err-body’s name done changed since tha beginning… Gotta update my blog’s tags so many times… Then again, I’ono about this title… >>> I can say worse but, for now, it’s decent; simple hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s good wit tha consistent rhymes; can’t complain… Almost couldn’t tell whose voice was whose but here’s Doe on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a similar vibe as you… For a “money” track, this ain’t bad. Usually, I’d bash tha shit outta it… My Rating: 3.1

Overall: A decent lil’ five-track disc, here… Glad to see you movin’ up in tha world, $hizz—Dollah sign or no dollah sign, lol? I put it, still… I know Kesha took her’s off (really?)… But, props fa fuckin’ wit some good peeps (B-Real & G.O.C. Flag St.—FREE G.O.C.!!)! Lookin’ forward to more in tha future! I’m sure I’mma meet ya sooner or later…

01. Fredo, Gee Money, Nino & Ree-Up “Blood”
Kickin’ it off wit a B-Real production; ooh! Let’s see… >>> That’s right, Earl: “See, money don’t make you real! Your actions do!” That’s what I be about all tha time! Not ‘bout no damn money, ya dig? With that bein’ said, hearin’ tha beat and it’s pretty nice, of course! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Fredo and it sounds dope; good shit, here! Gee Money takin’ ova tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some good shit… He was only 20, here, but this sounds nice ta hear, too… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 3rd verse, here, as Nino spittin’ some consistent, gangsta shit, as always! Endin’ it wit tha 4th verse from Ree-Up, here, comin’ through in full TBG gear, here, fa tha TBGerz; good shit! My Rating: 4.5

02. Fredo feat. Nino “What You Say”
Anotha B-Real production! >>> A slow but nice start/beat, here… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice wit these “catchin’ playz” times… Kinda sounds like B-Real on tha hook, here, at times… I ain’t officially give him credit on tha hook ‘cause I know it ain’t him on tha 1st verse (same voice on tha hook). It sounds like a catchy lil’ verse; gotta dig it… And, we got Nino on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ like a good verse… Gotta luv livin’ tha life in tha Rouge—well, I luv hearin’ it through tha music… My Rating: 4.4

03. Blvd Mel, Fredo, Gee Money & YMM Captain “iPhone 6”
>>> Sounds like a nice lil’ instant start—ugh, it rewound! Likin’ tha quiet beat start… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice; good shit! We got tha 1st verse from Fredo, here, holdin’ it down wit dem “shits,” of course! Gotta luv how he have err-thang! As long as people have edibles, that’s what’s tha main priority! Got Gee Money on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit his fully-energized verse, here; good shit! That YMM Captain dude on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some catchy shit; dumb shit! Gotta luv Mel holdin’ down tha hook; good shit! Maybe, we’ll connect in person soon? Free Percy Keith! My Rating: 4.4

04. Fredo & Gee Money feat. Ree-Up & Toon “Jumpin’”
>>> Definitely feelin’ tha upliftin’, party vibe on tha hook, here! Gotta luv “jumpin’ to tha roof!” I like tha lil’ “I get loose, loose, loose” shit in tha background; iz that B-Real? Ooh, I feel excited, lol… Can’t wait ta go back to BR, next month!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty dope… Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse a chick (Toon?); sounds good ta flow wit this, too… Got tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through nicely, as always… And, finally, on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse iz Gee Money, comin’ through wit some nice shit… I knew from when I first heard Gee Money 10 months & 4 dayz ago (B-Real’s birthday), I knew I had to appreciate him! Good shit! Hope err-body continue and neva give up wit this rap shit! My Rating: 4.6

05. Nino feat. Fredo “Run Around”
B-Real on dem beatz! >>> Off to a slow, sketchy start… Ehh, trashy; don’t see a 4.0 wit this one! Not diggin’ tha voice on tha hook and tha beat too dry… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad, here… Ugh, tha shitty-soundin’ voice’s on tha 2nd verse, here… Not feelin’ tha rhymes and this vibe, overall; fail for me and it’s a B-Real production, lol! My Rating: 2.3

06. TBG feat. Big Wayne “Catch It Then”
>>> An uncredited B-Real beat, here; nice! This more like it! Definitely feelin’ tha G-shit on tha hook, here; good shit! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty dope; gotta feel tha energy! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse’s pretty dope, too, holdin’ tha streetz of tha 225 down, too! “Stay wit tha shits!” Gotta luv tha whole them of “tha shits!” And, we got tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit tha gangsta shit, once again! Ooh, even more uncreditin’: Big Wayne; why both brothers uncredited, here? Nice job wit his energetic vibes, of course! Even a 3rd part of tha 2nd verse, here, from Gee Money, consistently spittin’ some vicious rhymes! Definitely dope, y’all! Nice instant ending, too! My Rating: 4.7

07. TBG “Wish Death On Me”
>>> Anotha uncredited B-Real beat, here… Sounds more like a slower vibe, here, soundin’ a lil’ betta than that dry one (#05)… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s a rough world but we gotta find tha positive source… Hearin’ tha hook and you can pass on this… I kinda like that it’s a female but I’ont fuck wit tha 50 Cent “Many Men” remake… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse and it’s Da Real Gee Money, soundin’ pretty nice… Sucks when you can feel “death” around… Gotta be lucky to be alive, these dayz! Got tha 3rd verse, here, soundin’ like an okay verse… Overall, kinda cheesy, at times, but still on a real tip… My Rating: 3.1

08. Gee Money & Fredo “It’s Tru”
>>> B-Real produced this with a “Mike Stroke” dude? No credit, here, so I’m just takin’ a guess… Hearin’ Gee Money on tha hook and not diggin’ tha voice; kinda cheesy… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I luv his hotel vibe of “poppin’ tabs, watchin’ a movie” and all dat; gotta add a Jacuzzi, tho! Got Fredo on tha 2nd verse and not diggin’ these voice effects; they can go! Got tha 3rd verse, here, from Gee Money and it’s soundin’ a lil’ more interestin’, again… My Rating: 2.6

09. TBG “Knuckle Up”
Oh, I know this one… Here’s what I had to say about it, last year:

“Uh oh!! Kickin’ off tha 2nd ½ of this CD wit a B-Real-produced track [funny ‘cause this tha one b4 we kick off tha 2nd ½ of this CD!]!! Definitely feelin’ his on-Mars-soundin’ production!! Yeah, y’all knucklin’ in real life, but nuckelin’ on tha title, lol! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty serious; definitely quality shit! Baton Rouge’ll always have gangsta in it at all times!! B-Real really slammin’ tha beat, here!! Tha most-inspirational dude of all-time!! Can’t believe he made me get a job!! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ consistent and jammin’! Definitely dumb!!” My Current Rating: 4.9

½time: Mainly, this a tight CD; luv tha production, hyped-up vibes & people on this CD. Tha only downfalls are tha dry productions, at times, as well as tha auto-tuned, dry vibes… A 3.9-rated CD, overall, at least; let’s continue to build it up!

10. Gee Money & Nino “Primetime”
B-Real on this beat, of course! >>> Who on tha 1st verse? Uncredited dude but B-Real doin’ tha damn thang on tha beat! Oh, it’s Nino on tha 1st verse; good shit! And, we got Gee Money holdin’ down tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, too; good shit! Damn, a lil’ short? My Rating: 4.4

11. Blvd Mel feat. Fredo & DJ B-Real “Hold Up Wait”
Anotha B-Real one! >>> Sounds like a tight track; I hear some B-Real “huhs” in tha background; nice! Gonna give him credit on tha hook, this time! Definitely feeiln’ what he bringin’ to tha table, here! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds pure; gotta feel it! Blvd Mel bringin’ tha heat at all times; gotta luv him! Keepin’ it movin’ wit Fredo on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit dat street shit! Quality at its finest; gotta luv it! My Rating: 4.5

12. Ree-Up feat. Fredo & Gee Money “Call Log”
>>> Keepin’ these uncredited B-Real tracks comin’ along, here… Nice lil’ beat and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice from Ree-Up, here, holdin’ tha streetz of BR down… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice, here, wit all this “call log” history… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse and it’s nice, as well; good shit… Switched to tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse wit Gee Money, here, spittin’ “magic” and doin’ his thang… Luv how he had err-thang, holdin’ it down like a “boss,” like he said… My Rating: 4.2

13. Fredo & Gee Money feat. Nino “I Love Pussy”
>>> Not too crazy about tha Fetty Wap-soundin’ voice on tha intro, fa some reason… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds like a joke… Honestly, it sounds like me at 15 years-old, like, “OMG, a song that keeps sayin’, ‘Pussy’, like Jacki-O’s song,” lol… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s bleh; too much Fetty!! Got Gee Money on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit a decent verse… Oh boy, tha flow got fucked up now that he rappin’ real fast… An uncredited Nino on tha 3rd verse, here; why uncredited? Decent lil’ contribution, tho… My Rating: 2.5

14. Fredo & Gee Money feat. Jerrid & Nino “Nigga Like Me”
>>> Sounds like a nice lil’ production and tha 1st verse not bad, here… Hearin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse and it cool; not much ta say but it cool… Tha hook ain’t too bad, here; tha Rouge at its finest! And, we got a “19”-year-old Gee Money on tha 2nd verse, here… Guess this was recorded before June 15, 2015? And, tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse not too bad, as well… My Rating: 3.9

15. Adrian Bagher feat. Fredo & Gee Money “Where That Bag”
>>> Definitely feelin’ this vibe, tha beat and how Dat Boy A does his thang on tha hook… Only thang I say, “Fuck this,” to, iz how we “gotta get dat money” vs. talkin’/doin’ business wit me; why? Nice lil’ 1st verse, tho, from Fredo, holdin’ shit down… And, we got Gee Money on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, too; gotta dig tha consistency! My Rating: 4.5

16. Cleezy feat. Nino & DJ B-Real “Really With The Shits”
Surprised this one that old & no B-Real credit (also, no “The” in tha title?)… I ain’t neva realize but my top-rated track off tha Join Da Gang CD… Tha full review:

“I smell a ***PERFECT RATING***!!! I smell a ***PERFECT RATING***!!! I smell a ***PERFECT RATING***!!! I smell a ***PERFECT RATING***!!! This gotta be tha shit with tha toilet and all dat!! >>> B-Real on tha track [not even credited on this CD]!! Shit definitely on-n-poppin’ on tha beat, here!! B-Real on tha hook, comin’ through wit tha hook in an N.O. bounce vibe, here, wit his delivery!! Fuckin’ sick!! No wonder why Baton Rouge, LA my top spot fa undaground music/rap music!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty nice, here, holdin’ shit down! Cleezy got shit on lock!! Luv when B-Real says, “Retarded,” on tha hook!! Fuckin’ sick!! And, Nino on tha 2nd verse, keepin’ tha bounce-like vibe goin’ wit tha delivery of tha flow, here! Sounds like an excellent mix with tha BR-like beat!! And, I can’t believe I was right about my prediction!! “Retarded!!!”” My Current Rating: 5.0

17. Pimp feat. Ree-Up & Nino “Pills Back”
I know this one, too & this was also after “Really With The Shits” on Join Da Gang

““What up, B-Real?” Oh, “Fredo on tha track?” Y’all got me thankin’… Tha hook sounds pretty serious and catchy!! “Maneeeee, them pills back!!” Fuckin’ gotta love it!! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty nice, here! Yeah, gotta luv eatin’ shit! Edibles? Tha shiz-nit!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, here, with a shout out ta “Blvd Mel,” too. With that bein’ said, “Free Percy Keith!!” Tha 3rd verse sounds good with a familiar-soundin’ flow? Catchy shit fa dem “jiggaz;” gotta keep it alive!! Tha vibe don’t stop, nor does it eva die!! My Current Rating: 4.7

18. Nino feat. Ree-Up “Loyalty”
>>> Endin’ wit an uncredited B-Real beat that’s nice and chill, here, fa tha 225… Hearin’ tha hook and yeah, gotta always have “loyalty” on ya team, here… To me, tha word “loyalty,” I symbolize with Big Wayne. I feel like he tha true leader of that word/meaning! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Nino and it’s soundin’ nice, here… Keepin’ it movin’ wit Ree-Up on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some nice shit… Too bad when I deal wit certain people, tha “loyalty” broken, smh. Re-hearin’ tha hook and yeah, if it’s one thing I love about this generation, it’s tha huggin’ and it’s tha luvin’ amongst tha peers. Bein’ anti-social, in a lack-of-affectionate family & not 100% connected with people when I connect wit ‘em, I feel like all tha luv’s a guilty pleasure. However, these dayz, I try to break outta that shell! My Rating: 4.0

Overall: Nice CD, overall. A few dry songs but otha than that, production was definitely on point, as well as tha collaborations! Good job, guys! Keep up tha great work! R.I.P. Da Real Gee Money! Free Fredo!
